Whatever Will Be Will Be!

This is what happens when you choose to cruise during the hurricane season. The worst case is that our cruise will be cancelled completely. Then again, it could just be shortened...or better yet, not changed at all. I really hope for the sake of the gulf states that Gustav weakens or turns altogether!

I hope the hurricane stops or goes somewhere else or something! I hope it does not ruin your time away.

Thanks everyone! There's still a good chance that, unless the hurricane is HITTING our port that the ship will leave and head to the eastern carribean. Even if it gets cancelled, we will get to re-schedule for another time. I am just trying to go with the flow. If we get on the ship and the itinerary changes...no problem at all!!! Just take me where you want to go and I will have a good time with it...as long as I am on the ship and Jeff is there!!!

My husband heard this morning that 30,000 people in New Orleans have applied for assistance. We have no idea what kind of assisstance, but that is a heck of a lot fo people who know there future is in jeapordy.

I wish them well, that is for sure.

My fingers and toes are crossed and lots of prayers are being said. We just do not need this storm.

No, Rhonda, we don't!! At first, all I could think of was getting on that ship before it hit. Now, I can't imagine going out there and living it up while people are suffering from Gustav. I just wish that it would die down...do something totally different than what is expected. It wouldn't be the first time the predictions were wrong. At least it doesn't look like a direct hit on New Orleans at this point.
