Twins

Vicki and I were only one of the many sets of twins at our family reunion this year. Our family has always been known for its high number of multiple births...twins and triplets. Here are the ones that made it to the reunion this year!

Oh my goodness! How lucky your famiy is. Such beautiful family photos. I love seeing photos like this. My husband was a twin but his mom lost his brother early in the pregnancy. I often wonder, never seeing his brother, if there is something missing inside of my husband. If there is a part of him that feels a loss. I don't know, maybe it is just me thinking crazy thoughts. I have just heard that twins can have a very strong bond. It is something I would like to ask my husband, but I do not want to bring up any old memories. Maybe one day.

Hi Rhonda
Without a doubt there is a part of him missing. He may not even realize what it is since he doesn't remember his twin, but it has to be there. They were together in that womb...for however long. A part of him is gone...he has to feel it.
Yes, the bond between twins is unexplainable...like no other.
Thanks for the comment!

THAT is so cool! I have always secretly hoped for twins...chances are looking so good, now with my 5 single births. Although, my grandmother is a twin....(thanks for stopping by my blog!)
